I brought my car to Courtesy Chevrolet in Breaux Bridge on Wednesday, February 12 at approximately 4:30 PM after working because my engine light had come on and my Chevrolet app showed that there was an issue with the Evaporization Emission System . I was told that the vapor canister purge valve would have to be changed. I was told that they would have the part in on Friday, February 14th and I would be called to schedule an appointment as soon as the part arrived from MS. I was told that it was covered under warranty. I explained that I would be making a trip to the Oklahoma City area for the weekend, and I was assured that it was safe to drive the vehicle. On February 23rd, I began calling for an update. I was unsuccessful in reaching anyone for 2 days. On Friday, February 28th I was finally able to speak to someone in the service department. I was told initially that no ticket had been made but once the ticket was found, I was told to bring my car in on Monday morning—the earlier the better. I arrived around 7:15 AM and waited for opening. Several minutes after opening, I was told that the part was NOT covered under warranty because it wasn’t part of the power train and I don’t have extended warranty. I was told that the part was only covered up to 36K miles, and my car had 40K miles. I explained that I’d been told previously that it was covered. The service consultant told me that he didn’t believe I’d had less than 36K when I brought it in weeks prior. I left without having the vehicle fixed because I was told that it was safe to drive when I first brought it in. It is important to note that the same service advisor was dealt with throughout this experience

Very poor. We traveled one and a half hour to get a key card that was supposed to have come with the new vehicle and did not. Only to be told after waiting 3 hours in the service department to be told they did not know how to program it. They said the called GMC and they didn't help fix the problem either. We are so sorry we ever gave them a good review and wish we had gone somewhere else for the purchase of our new vehicle. We were not the only ones sitting waiting for service to be done and they were not happy also. We would never recommend Courtesy Breaux Bridge to anyone!!!
